🌱 Sept. 20 Virtual Prep Meeting at 8-9pm ET
🏛️ Sept. 25 In-person NC Hill Day at 10:20am ET
All participants will learn from experienced environmental scientists and advocates how to have effective meetings with elected officials, share their perspectives with representatives, and receive a 100% recycled cotton tote bag, stickers, and notebook designed by a local wildlife artist!

What is a Hill Day?
A Hill Day is a group of meetings with elected officials about important topics that people care about!
I’ve never talked to representatives before and don’t have much policy knowledge. Can I attend?
Yes! We welcome people from all backgrounds and level of experience to join the NC Hill Day. You can meaningfully participate in meetings by being yourself and sharing your ideas. Before Hill Day, helpful tips and meeting topics will be outlined to boost preparedness and confidence.
I am a parent. Can I join my children at Hill Day?
Yes, please register separately (to be included in our headcount). However, we encourage guardians to support their children’s growth in independence and leadership skills through this opportunity. Hill Day will be guided by three environmental scientists and advocates who are vetted and have significant professional experience leading youth activities.
